At L2 Mainnet launch the full L1 state becomes the L2 genesis, so balances and contracts carry over at the same addresses. As an OP Stack L2, Whitechain settles on Ethereum through blob data availability, produces blocks every second, and inherits Ethereum's security guarantees instead of carrying its own.
Native WBT on Whitechain is issued through direct WhiteBIT deposits and withdrawals and through the Portal, Whitechain's centralized bridge, which moves WBT between Ethereum, Tron, and Whitechain. Native WBT does not pass through the OP Stack canonical bridge, because Whitechain runs in custom gas token mode; that bridge carries ERC-20 tokens only. The total supply remains capped at 400 million tokens across all supported chains.
