What is the project about?
Kokomo is a permissionless lending protocol custom-built to help users lend and borrow digital assets.Kokomo protocol is built on Optimism, allowing smart contracts to enforce the terms of the loan, including interest rates, repayment schedules, and collateral requirements. Borrowers can borrow through several clicks which is verified through an automated process. Once the request is submitted, the funds are automatically transferred to the borrower's account, and repayment is tracked on the blockchain.
What makes your project unique?
Kokomo allows users to borrow cryptocurrencies and stablecoins with no credit check and fast origination directly on Optimism as well as supply cryptocurrencies and stablecoins to earn a variable APY for providing liquidity. The protocol is controlled by the Kokomo Token($KOKO), a governance token designed to be a fair launch distribution for the community.

Kokomo has officially launched on Optimism. There are currently five mainstream crypto assets open for borrowing and lending, including ETH, WBTC, USDC, USDT and DAI.

Kokomo will cross to Arbitrum within fortnight after official launch and add more pools open for lending and borrowing.
